Recognizing our collective need to be able to encounter and appreciate art and those who create it, the board of AIR has developed a special section on our website called AIR Creates. Here we want to feature the talents of a diverse sampling of creative genius from the Dallas Metroplex and beyond. Whether an exposition of professional artists or the presentation of home-schooled children, we wish to brighten and lighten your day.
Through social media, new posts will be publicized and available on the website. We will have a section of today’s artists and a special greenhouse section for the “up and coming” creatives under the age of 18. We will feature posts from artists who are familiar to AIR. We want you to submit your creations for others to share as well.
AIR Time is a guest artist interview series featuring North Texas artists and creative thinkers. AIR defines artist very broadly. Past artist interviews have included Kevin Carr and Jamie Fulton of Community Beer Company; Erin Hannigan, principal oboist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra; the Paul Taylor Dance Company, and voiceover artist and actor, Alan Ackles.
Following the interview (7:00-7:45 pm), guests are invited to stay for the movie. Admission is FREE, but when reserving a seat online you must purchase a $5 food voucher which can then be used at the event. Ticket information will be available at this site closer to the event.
All AIR Time events are held at Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, 100 S. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080.

Presented and developed by AIR (ARTS Incubator of Richardson), this festival provides opportunities for artists and creatives of many kinds to showcase their talents while creating greater awareness of the vibrant arts and creative community in Richardson.
Multiple venues across the City host FREE performances and engaging activities for all who love the arts and creativity. Locations include Heights Shopping Center, Four Bullets Brewery, and the Richardson Public Library. Finale concerts are performed at Six Springs Tavern.
Artists range from actors to painters, singers, dancers, storytellers, and jugglers. Creativity on Tap is the art/creative exhibit in partnership with Four Bullets Brewery featuring new works of art, poetry, stories, music and more all based on “beer.”
Sidewalk chalk artists can be found at Heights Village Shopping Center. Each year there is a special showing of latest release of a movie in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, which becomes the inspiration for the chalk artists’ drawings.
Storytelling Festival is a month-long celebration of the art of storytelling focused on the idea that everyone has a story to tell. Multiple school performances, as well as workshops for adults, help develop storytelling as well as performances for all ages to enjoy.
AIR is honored to host renowned and award-winning tellers such as DC Cornish and Elizabeth Ellis.
Storytelling is presented to students at various local Richardson elementary schools. The festival includes an interview with a featured storyteller at the live AIR Time event.
The closing performance of the Festival showcases a nationally recognized storyteller in partnership with First United Methodist Church Richardson.
