AIR Time

What is AIR Time? AIR Time is a guest artist interview series featuring North Texas artists and creative thinkers. AIR defines artist very broadly. Past artist interviews have included Kevin Carr and Jamie Fulton of Community Beer Company; Erin Hannigan, principal oboist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra; the Paul Taylor Dance Company, and voiceover artist and actor, Alan Ackles.

Following the interview (7:00-7:45pm), guests are invited to stay for the movie. Admission is FREE, but when reserving a seat online you must purchase a $5 food voucher which can then be used at the event. Ticket information will be available at this site closer to the event:

All AIR Time events are held at Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, 100 S. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX  75080.

Ricochet17 — October 21, 2017, “a citywide celebration of arts & creativity” is a city-wide focus on the arts featuring arts organizations, individual artists and other creatives in the region.

Presented as a collaborative effort between AIR (Arts Incubator of Richardson) and many creatives and businesses, Ricochet17 is the basis for creating a “culture map” of the City while also creating awareness for National Arts & Humanities Month in October. Ricochet16 is designed to be an annual event focused on the arts and creativity.

“Sources of Inspiration” in the Creative Process

For the past 30 years, Sarah Lawrence (her nom de plume) has been a noted author, playwright, journalist, and musician (harp, piano, pipe organ and vocalist). She also maintained a faith-based yoga studio for many years, incorporating elements of breathing, movement, and meditation. She has served as a workshop leader in creativity for numerous retreats and community events.

“Sources of inspiration” from her perspective include time-tested tools to help channel inspiration such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, walking, cross-training in other art forms, structured time, enhanced dream techniques, and more. This will be a fun and interactive SEED session.

(Riehm and her husband are owners of the successful neighborhood restaurant, Marcus Café)

Food and drinks available for purchase.

Gather. Become inspired. Share.
