Envision a space under one roof where a glass artist creates colorful fused sculptures; a dance troupe hosts a Master class; a corporate team is inspired to develop an innovative business solution; a vocal group rehearses for a competition; a group of 8-year-olds experiments with watercolors; chords from a Spanish guitar permeate a café space hosting a cooking class; the gift shop, filled with one-of-a-kind art pieces, is abuzz with a busload of visitors eager to own a piece of local art; heads are together in a nook as ideas swirl about a collaborative effort.

This, is AIR.

It's May! May Day has come and gone and we find ourselves in mid-month. What's on your creative mind?Send your thoughts to kitty@artsincubatorrichardson.org

Humorous quote for the week:
"Due to recent cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off."

“The bottom line is that cities need a people climate even more than they need a business climate. This means supporting creativity across the board—in all of its various facets and dimensions—and building a community that is attractive to creative people, not just to high-tech companies. A former Seattle mayor Paul Schell once said success lies in creating a place where the creative experience can flourish.”
